« Des profondeurs glaciales je m’éveille… », c’est par cette déclaration solennelle que débute le morceau « Vitae Nostrum Est… », véritable porte-étendard de SORS IMMANIS, titre relatant la volonté du groupe de se porter en défenseur de l’esprit originel de cet art musical qu’est le Black Metal.
Fondé fin 2008 par le guitariste Sargatanas, SORS IMMANIS est un groupe de Black Metal Mélodique localisé à Thionville, en terre mosellane, au cœur d’une région à l’histoire riche et torturée, la Lorraine, au nord-est de la France et à quelques lieues seulement de l’Allemagne, le Luxembourg et la Belgique.
Influencé par la scène des années 90, le groupe délivre un Black Metal mélodique riche aux riffs et solos de guitares épics et puissants, le tout soutenu par une orchestration fine et puissante et un sens de l’harmonie avancé.
Le chant en Français confère au groupe une personnalité et une dimension poétique accrocheuse.

-Lord Sabathan (Ex-Enthroned, Slaughter Messiah, Horacle), invité spécial en duo sur un titre de notre album qui est actuellement en cours de mixage
Le groupe, qui a déjà partagé la scène en France et à l’étranger (Belgique, Luxembourg,…) avec des groupes comme Cirith Gorgor, Maniac Butcher, Gronibard, Numen, Handful Of Hate, Bliss Of Flesh, Malevolentia, Natron, Heretic et Embryonic Cells,… et qui bénéficie maintenant d’un projet solide et bien avancé, notamment à travers ses différentes pages internet est maintenant à la recherche de structures qui permettraient à son premier album de voir le jour ainsi que de dates de concerts.

Founded in 2008 by guitarist Sargatanas, SORS IMMANIS is a Melodic Black Metal band located in Thionville, Moselle, a land in the heart of Lothringen, in the north-east of France and only a few miles from Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.
Influenced by the scene of the 90s, the band delivers a rich melodic Black Metal with epic solos and powerful guitars riffs, all backed by a fine and powerful orchestration and a sense of advanced harmony.
Singing in French gives the group a personality and a poetic dimension.
